Reading Group Choices Announces Search for New Owner

About Reading Group Choices

First launched in 1994 by Paz & Associates as an invaluable resource for book groups across the country, Reading Group Choices has been recommending books to book groups ever since. The business has consistently grown, first under the direction of the late Barbara Drummond Mead, and for the past ten years, under the ownership of Mary Morgan.

Reading Group Choices (RGC) is a dependable resource for readers, librarians and booksellers, offering adult and young adult book recommendations and discussion questions to facilitate lively group discussions. Book recommendations, book group advice and book partnerships are shared with readers through the annual print/eBook guide, online database, eNewsletters, blog, website, and social media.

RGC also has a consistent presence exhibiting and creating events at library conferences, book festivals and independent bookstores across the country. Sustained partnerships are in place with ABA, ALA, PLA, AASL, WNBA, Ingram, Ennis Book Club Festival, LibroFM and Bookshop.Org.

The Search For a New Owner

With a strong track record and proven business model, Reading Group Choices is now looking for a new owner to guide it into its next chapter. This is a company where the new owner can live anywhere. There is no storefront, the inventory is housed and distributed through a publishing warehouse, and independent contractors (e.g. graphic and website designers) work remotely.
