Book Club Girls Sparta will be celebrating our 4th anniversary this November. We meet on zoom every January, February, and March, and in person the rest of the year. Our anniversary month, November, is set aside for a big celebration with a holiday cookie exchange, and a wine raffle. This is our highlight and it’s a lot of fun for everyone. The Athena Readers Book Club started in 2016 at the Johnston Branch of the San Antonio Public Library. The “founding members” voted on a title for the group and started with the 
Meg’s Book Group was formed by a group of teachers and other staff from Lincoln Elementary School in Madison, WI, decades ago. Soon, parents wormed their way in and we’ve been meeting steadily ever since with some new members joining while others left. Our group is now 8 regular members mostly in our late 50s and early 60s.
CLAMS is the name of our book group, which has been meeting since 2008, and has 10 members. CLAMS stands for “Corte Madera Literary and Munching Society.” We meet in Corte Madera, CA, about a half hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge in Northern CA. We choose our books by submitting suggestions in the fall and we then vote electronically via SurveyMonkey,
